Sidewinder Wall Cabinet

The Sidewinder began with an original 1930s English circular drinks trolley, its bentwood ring and two-tier shelving providing the starting point for the cabinet's distinctive geometry. Taken to the wall, the circle opens and extends, its stacked shelves reimagined as drawers and a cabinet, giving the Sidewinder its curious combination of movement and architectural presence.

Designed originally as an entry table for our own home, it makes a dramatic first impression without taking up much space. Drawers keep smaller necessities close at hand, the cabinet offers concealed storage, and the open shelf leaves room for the things worth seeing. Paired with a mirror, it becomes a particularly useful landing place by the door. Hidden hinges preserve its clean, uninterrupted lines, while the hardware—also a Teddy Berger design—is cast in solid brass and polished to a warm gold-tone finish.

Made in right- and left-handed versions, the Sidewinder can stand alone or as a pair, including as bedside tables flanking a bed—there's something especially satisfying about watching the two turn toward one another, asymmetry resolving into symmetry.

Minimal in ornament but not in personality, the Sidewinder has true Art Deco leanings with just enough mischief to keep things interesting. Its strong geometry sits comfortably with Deco, mid-century, and contemporary furnishings, while its curves and gleaming brass bring energy to more eclectic rooms. Drama, sophistication, and fun happily coexist here—and, true to its name, it never takes the straight route.
