The Bigelow Coffee Table began with a traditional Chippendale table—its carved details and graceful proportions the starting point—then took a turn: stretched, lowered, and translated from mahogany into polished nickel and walnut, bringing 18th-century elegance into conversation with 1930s glamour.

At more than five feet long, the Bigelow plays deliberately with scale. There's a touch of Dorothy Draper in those exaggerated proportions—bigger, lower, and a little unexpected. A generous walnut lower shelf holds books and the accumulated pleasures of a well-lived room, while the broad tabletop gives everyone around it somewhere to put things down.

The top comes in two versions. In walnut, a removable acrylic tray with polished-nickel handles sits flush within the surface, shielding the wood beneath from drinks, condensation, and the occasional mishap—a bit of 1930s practicality hiding in plain sight. In tempered glass, the tabletop takes care of itself, offering the same generous surface with nothing to protect and nothing to remove.

Polished nickel brings the glamour; walnut keeps things warm and grounded. The Chippendale bones are there if you look for them, but the Bigelow feels equally at home among Deco, modern, and eclectic furnishings.
